Wynne not discouraged by results

Premier Katheen Wynne says she is not discouraged by the results of yesterday’s byelections. In fact she says they really aren’t a true indication of how voters will cast ballots in a general election.
“You know what? I don’t own a pair of rose-coloured glasses. I’m a realist, I’m a practical person. I went to Thornhill last night and I spoke to Joyce Morocco who was our candidate in Niagara Falls, I talked to Sandra Yeung Racco in Thornhill, I complimented them both on the races that they had run, but I got up this morning, I’m the premier of Ontario, I’ve got a terrific team, and it is my job that we continue to implement our plan.”
The premier says she will continue to work towards creating jobs for Ontarians and will not let the byelection results discourage her or her caucus.
