Woman in her 20s seriously injured after hit-and-run in Hamilton

A woman in her 20s was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run incident in Hamilton on Thursday.

Hamilton police say, at around 5:15 p.m., the woman was struck by a dark-coloured sedan at Young and James streets.

The vehicle fled the scene and was last seen heading south on James Street.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dash cam is asked to call police at 905-546-3948.
