We Remember

For a moment today Canadians across the nation stopped to remember those who have served and in many cases died for our country. While most recently more than 150 Canadians were killed in the Afghan war, an estimated 68 000 lives were lost in WWI and 47 000 Canadians were killed in the Second World War.

Some of those who served in WWII were among those paying tribute to the fallen today. Elizabeth Hall brings us their stories along with the many generations who say they will never forget.
