Warning: Facebook scam using CHCH branding

Some of our viewers have been receiving messages on Facebook this week claiming they’ve won a prize from CHCH and must present their credit card information to claim it.

Those Facebook accounts are not CHCH even though they’ve stolen our brand logo. CHCH will never ask you for credit card or banking information at any time.

CHCH has asked Facebook to delete the fake pages, but they’ve said the fraudsters, “do not violate their community standards.”

Another way to protect yourself from fraud like this is to look carefully at the web link you’re asked to click on. If there are random letters and numbers, it’s a scam, so do not click on it.
