First Published:

Heavy air strikes and explosions in north Gaza overnight, as Gaza’s health ministry says the death toll hit another grim milestone – more than 10,000 people have now been killed in the Gaza strip since Hamas attacked Israel one month ago.

Communications across the area were once again temporarily cut today, as Israeli fighter pilots struck more than 450 targets and Israeli troops seized a militant compound.

The attacks killing 200 people according to the director of Gaza city’s biggest hospital. Calls for a ceasefire keep growing, as the United Nations Secretary General warns Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children.
