Truck protest convoy headed to Ottawa

First Published:

Several convoys of truckers are en route to Ottawa to protest the recently implemented vaccine mandate.

The Canadian government now requires truckers coming into Canada to show proof of vaccination to avoid stringent testing requirements and quarantine.

A federal separatist party is behind fundraising efforts to support the convoys. However, most truckers, like most Canadians, are vaccinated and any empty shelves have a lot more to do with last week’s big storm and Covid-related absenteeism. Most goods are getting through.
