Canada fights U.S. auto tariffs as Senate blocks Trump’s ‘national emergency”

Four Republican Senators have broken ranks, voting with Democrats to terminate a “national emergency.” Trump declared in January that it was linked to the flow of fentanyl across the border, something the president is using to apply blanket tariffs on Canadian goods.
