Toronto police arrest Hamilton man for sexual assaults from 1978-2004

Toronto police say a 73-year-old man from Hamilton has been arrested and charged in a historical sexual assault investigation.

Jeoffrey Serrette is alleged to have sexually assaulted three young people between 1978 and 2004.

According to police the assaults took place in Toronto and Mississauga.

Serrette was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent assault on a female, three counts of sexual interference with a person under 14 years of age, sexual assault and assault.

Anyone who may have known the accused from 1978 to 2004 or has information related to the offences is asked to contact Toronto or Hamilton police.
