Tom Wilson joins Hamilton Children’s Choir winter concert

The Hamilton Children’s Choir’s winter concert will be bringing a re-imagined holiday classic to the stage with local music icon Tom Wilson.
The show will bring an original choral version of John Hughes’ “Home Alone” that will showcase arrangements of the music from the film, alongside original compositions from Canadian composers.
Hamilton music icon Tom Wilson has also joined in on the holiday show to narrate the nostalgic classic.

Wilson has long been involved with the Hamilton community and established the Bunny Wilson Bursary for Indigenous students at McMaster.

“I am thrilled that Tom Wilson is supporting HCC through our collaboration on ‘In The House With Nobody Else,’” says HCC Artistic Director Melanie Tellez.
“It is very special for our young singers to have the opportunity to work with someone who harnesses his creativity and artistry across so many mediums, is so talented and iconic, and is known for active participation in his community. This is both the pinnacle of artistic collaboration and a very meaningful community connection.”
The show dubbed “In The House With Nobody Else” will offer two performances on Dec. 16 at Hamilton’s Central Presbyterian Church.
Tickets are available online in advance or at the door if tickets remain.
