Three arrests made in connection with robbery in Milton

Halton police have made three arrests in connection with a robbery at a Bell store on Friday.

Officers say three masked suspects entered the store around 8 p.m. and held a single employee at gunpoint with an imitation firearm who sustained minor injuries.

The suspects proceeded to steal cell phones and cash before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

Police stopped the vehicle on the Gardiner Expressway shortly after where the suspects were arrested.

Details about the identity of the three arrested have not been released, but investigators have confirmed they include one adult and two youths.

All three individuals are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The accused face charges of robbery with a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, use of an imitation firearm while committing a crime, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
