Thorold man, 44, arrested for child pornography

A Thorold man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order, evidence was later found of online sexual exploitation of children.

William Russel Dorey, was arrested on Tuesday and is charged with three criminal offences, which are make child pornography, make child pornography available, and fail to comply with release order.

The 44-year-old is being held for a bail hearing scheduled to take place today at a St. Catharines courthouse.

Niagara Police assigned Internet Child Exploitation to investigate into a complaint received from a reporting service that gathers information about the sexual exploitation of children.
