Think Like a Man Too

Think Like a Man Too, directed by Tim Story (Ride Along), is a romantic comedy and sequel to 2012’s Think Like a Man, which was based on the book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey. The sequel reunites the characters from the first movie, this time heading to Las Vegas for Candace (Regina Hall) and Michael’s (Terrence J) wedding. In typical rom-com fashion however, nothing goes quite as planned, and the relationship stakes are always higher in Vegas. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson, Romany Malco, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Gary Owen, Gabrielle Union, La La Anthony, and Kevin Hart.

These days, if a film makes any sort of profit, making a sequel is a no-brainer. And according to director Tim Story, the idea of this sequel was already being considered before the original was even released. “Shortly after the first movie came out, probably even before, we found that everybody just loved these characters. They had a really good time in the movie. And before the movie came out, we figured, ‘Why not do this again?’ We started to talk about the ideas and where we could take them. And it was kind of inevitable, just because of the way the project came together in post production. And even when we were filming it, we knew we had something that was kind of special, so we thought ‘Why not visit these characters again?’”

Think Like a Man Too is rated PG.
