The westbound QEW in Oakville saw a near shutdown Tuesday morning as Halton police attempted to stop a vehicle reported in a “suspicious observation call.”

The driver, however, did not stop and lost control, striking the guardrail near Bronte Road.
Officers say the three individuals who were in the vehicle were arrested and sustained minor injuries. A fourth suspect was additionally arrested at the dealership.
