The suspects tied to a series of Home Depot frauds totaling $100,000 have been arrested, according to Halton police.
In a release sent out on Thursday, officials confirmed they had arrested and charged a man and a woman in connection with fraud incidents that occurred across the GTA over a two-month period.
Last month, police were called to a Home Depot location in Oakville, after receiving reports of a suspect trying to fraudulently buy various expensive items.
The suspect had left the building by the time officers arrived, but a rental vehicle registered to the suspect was recovered at the scene.

Following this incident, Halton police executed a search warrant on the vehicle, which spurred a larger investigation into fraud after uncovering fake credit cards and I.D. cards.
Police were able to positively identify the suspect, and found he had been using the fraudulent credit cards and Home Depot gift cards to purchase items at stores across southern Ontario between May and July of this year.
The total losses of these fraudulent transactions is an estimated $100,000.
Halton police say they arrested 30-year-old Huguens Charlescat and 29-year-old Melissa Levesque, who face charges in connection with this string of incidents.
