Students in Halton Region share their thoughts on cellphone, vaping ban on first day back

While many kids across Ontario got back in the classroom Tuesday, Wednesday was the first day of school for thousands of students in the Halton Region.

Top of mind are two new issues at the forefront of every classroom: a ban on vaping, and cellphone use.

CHCH News visited several schools in the region, and the consensus was divided over the issue.

While many students could understand the need to prohibit the use of nicotine vaping devices, they casted doubts on the effectiveness on a cellphone ban.
