St. Catharines man, 22, faces multiple child porn charges

First Published:

A St. Catharines man is facing multiple child pornography charges.

Niagara police say they launched an investigation earlier this month into the alleged sexual exploitation of children.

Officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home in St. Catharines, where they found what they call “numerous devices capable of storing electronic data.”

Harry Michael Ward, 22, has been arrested and charged with two counts each of possession, accessing and distributing child pornography.

Ward was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Tuesday at a courthouse in St. Catharines.
