SIU investigating after woman fell from QEW overpass in St. Catharines

Ontario’s police watchdog says it is investigating after a 54-year-old woman fell from a highway overpass in St. Catharines and sustained serious injuries.

Officers were called about a woman in distress around 3:30 p.m. on the Queen Elizabeth Way bridge at Niagara St. on Sunday.

Niagara police say the 54-year-old fell to the ground and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
