Ontario Provincial Police have reopened a portion of Highway 403 in Burlington several hours after a motorcyclist died in a crash Monday morning.

All eastbound lanes of Highway 403 between Waterdown Road and the Highway 407-QEW split were closed, but reopened shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash and have not yet released the identity of the motorcycle rider.
