Search on for Hamilton man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

Waterloo Police are searching for a 20-year-old man from Hamilton who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in an ongoing murder investigation.

Habiton Solomon is wanted for second-degree murder and is considered to be armed and dangerous. If seen, officers ask that he is not approached and instead to call police immediately.

He is described as five-foot-eight, 130 pounds, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.

He is wanted in connection with the death of an 18-year-old male from Kitchener who died after being shot outside of a business in Kitchener on August 13.

On Tuesday, detectives arrested and charged an unnamed 19-year-old man from Hamilton in the incident and are continuing the search for Solomon.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they expect additional arrests and charges to laid.
