Burlington’s MPP won’t be running for re-election.

Progressive Conservative Joyce Savoline released a statement Monday, saying she has made the “difficult decision” not to run again.
Savoline was first elected in the February 2007 byelection, and re-elected in that fall’s provincial election.
She is the Tories’ Municipal Affairs and Housing Critic.
Previously, Savoline served 12 years as chair of Halton region.
Two other PCs and nine Liberals have announced they won’t be running again.
