Road closures in store as Supercrawl returns this weekend

Hamilton’s biggest music festival returns this weekend, with portions of York Boulevard and James Street North shutting down to host the event.

James Street North will be closed between King and Strachan streets from Sept. 12 at 1:30 a.m. to Sept. 16 at 5 a.m.

York Boulevard will be closed between Bay and Hughson streets from Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. to Sept. 16 at 5 a.m.

The festival will run from Friday to Sunday evening and will include several musical performances, food trucks and dozens of art displays and fixtures.

The City of Hamilton made a post on X Wednesday morning alerting residents that the busy downtown roads would be closed for the majority of the weekend.
