Pride Hamilton plans to bring back celebrations outdoors in August
It’s been over three years and Pride Hamilton announced Monday that they will be back with an outdoor event in August.
Pride Hamilton originally planned to have the event on June 18 but has now announced the celebration will be held on Aug. 27th at Pier 4 Park.
The organization made the date change to ensure their choice of venue provides a safe, accessible and enjoyable event for everyone.
The last event held outside was in 2019, that’s when the festival ended in violence when protesters crashed a picnic at Gage Park.
