Halton police are asking for any witnesses to come forward after a serious assault at the Burlington Power Centre early Tuesday morning.

Detectives say that it is believed an altercation occurred outside of the Centre on Brant Street and North Service Road between the hours of 1 a.m. and 2:45 a.m.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was found by a passerby just south of the Centre. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are actively reviewing video surveillance footage and for any eye-witnesses, those with dash cam video or anyone with information contact police at 905-825-4747 ext. 2316.
