Police seek man after serious assault at St. Catharines restaurant

Police are searching for a man accused of seriously injuring a 60-year-old man following a disagreement at a restaurant in St. Catharines last month.
Investigators say the two men were arguing on a patio on St. Paul St. between James St. and Garden Park on July 10.
The suspect then stood up and repeatedly punched the seated victim in the face, knocking him to the ground.
Police say the suspect and the group of people he had been sitting with left the patio.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly before 9 p.m. to find the 60-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.

Paramedics transported him to a local hospital, but he has since been released.
Investigators are searching for a man between 35 and 40 years old who is short, has a slim build, short blonde hair and possibly a moustache.
He was last seen wearing a large, black, long-sleeved T-shirt with a logo on the front, blue jeans and white Adidas shoes.
