Police seek man accused of stealing truck, trailer in Welland

Niagara police are turning to the public for help in identifying a man they believe may have a connection to a vehicle theft that happened in Welland last week.
Officers say a silver 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and a black 2012 Miska dump trailer were stolen from a home in the area of First Avenue and Quaker Road. The theft occurred sometime between the afternoon of Dec. 11 and the morning of Dec. 12.
Authorities recovered the truck and trailer the following day.
During their investigation, footage was acquired of a man who they are now seeking to identify.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who is approximately 50 years old and six-foot-tall. He is clean shaven, has a medium build and a receding dark hairline.
