Police search for federal offender previously arrested in Hamilton

The Ontario Provincial Police are searching for a federal offender who was previously arrested in Hamilton in March.
Michael Stamatakos, 31, is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
Police were searching for Stamatakos earlier this year, and he was arrested in Hamilton after he checked into St. Joseph’s Hospital and one of the nurses recognized him and called police.

A recent release from police suggests Stamatakos has gone missing again.
He is described as a white man, five-foot-five in height, 110 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes.
Stamatakos can be recognized by several distinguishing facial tattoos, specifically a heart, teardrop and stitch trail on his left cheek, and also a stitch trail on his right cheek.
Investigators say Stamatakos is currently serving a two year sentence for a slew of charges including arson-damage to property, flight from peace officer, utter threat to cause death/harm and more.
