Police investigate after body found in Hamilton’s east end

Police are investigating after a body was found in Hamilton’s east end Tuesday.

Hamilton police spokesperson Jackie Penman says the body was discovered in the area of Barton Street East and Harmony Avenue.

Officers could not determine the cause of death given its condition, Penman says.

Investigators will remain at the scene until a scheduled autopsy has been completed.
