Pipeline protest outside Sopinka

Environmental demonstrators gathered outside Hamilton’s John Sopinka courthouse to protest the Enbridge pipeline.

They’re accusing Hamilton Police of accepting money from Enbridge. Picketers blocked off a section of Main Street with their signs and megaphones.

The plan to reverse pipeline 9 that runs through Flamborough has been the source of several protests. About a month ago, an anti-Enbridge group blocked off a section of Highway 6 with a mock oil spill.
