Pierre Poilievre dislikes anti-Trudeau flags, but acknowledges anger

First Published:

Pierre Poilievre dislikes the flags some Canadians are using to discredit Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, but he understands the rage behind them.

Poilievre’s comments were made after a blog post by Erin O’Tool, the previous federal conservative leader.

O’Tool says he is worried that the flags are symptomatic of the rising political polarization in the country, which is normalizing anger and rage.
