Pair wanted for murder of Tyler Pratt have fled to Europe: Hamilton police

Two people wanted in a murder in Stoney Creek last month have fled to eastern Europe, Hamilton police say.
Oliver Karafa, 28, and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li, 25, are wanted for first-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Tyler Pratt.
Pratt’s body was found in an industrial area in Stoney Creek on Feb. 28.
The pair are also charged with attempted murder, as a 26-year-old woman was found with serious injuries.

In an update posted to social media Friday morning, police say they’ve confirmed the pair are in Eastern Europe.
Police believe they fled about 24 hours after the murder. They say the two are aware they are wanted and are actively evading police.
