Over $300K worth of items stolen from Niagara Falls autograph store

An investigation has been launched after nearly $300,000 worth of items were stolen from a memorabilia store in Niagara Falls sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
Niagara police say they responded to Icon Autographs located on Dorchester Rd. near Thorold Stone Rd. for a reported break-and -enter incident on Thursday.
The initial investigation determined that sometime between Wednesday at 4:07 p.m. and 9 a.m. on Thursday, an unknown suspect or suspects forced their way into the business that specializes in items that have been signed by celebrities.

After gaining entry by damaging the front door, the store was “ransacked” and numerous pieces of memorabilia and collectables were stolen.
Detectives say they will release a list of stolen items once it can be finalized to assist in the recovery of the items and identification of those involved.
Residents and businesses in the area are asked to check all forms of security video for any suspicious activity between the hours in which the incident could have occurred.
