OPP searching for federal offender known to frequent Niagara region

The OPP are on the lookout for a federal offender that they say is known to frequent the Niagara region.

Joseph Camus, 40, is described by police as a white male, five-foot-eight, around 216 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Camus is known to frequent the St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Orillia areas.

He is currently wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for a breach of his Statutory Release while he is currently serving a two year, one month sentence for two counts of break and enter, mischief in relation to other property.

Anyone who has been in contact with Camus or has information in regards to his whereabouts is asked to contact the provincial R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900.
