The OPP are reminding drivers to be alert in school areas following a minor collision between a school bus and a delivery truck near a public school in Huntsville.
Just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday the Huntsville OPP were called to the collision on Susan Street near Huntsville Public School.
One student on the bus was assessed for a bump on the head from the bus braking suddenly.
No further injuries were reported and the drivers were not charged.
Damage was limited to cracked mirrors as the vehicles passed one another.
Police say that poor car parking on the street contributed to the cause of the incident.
The OPP also ask drivers to be aware of where they park or stop near a school as it can have an impact on the safety of students and other motorists in the area.
