OPP investigate fatal single-vehicle collision in Dunnville

A 77-year-old resident of Haldimand County has died after being involved in a single vehicle collision.

Authorities say they were called out to a private property on Niagara Street in Dunnville around 3 p.m. on Thursday after a pedestrian was struck by a sedan.

The person was taken to hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to their injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
