OPP charge two teens for drug trafficking in Dunnville

Three people, two of them teenagers, were recently arrested in Dunnville and hit with drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop.
OPP say the stop followed a drug investigation launched by its Haldimand/Norfolk detachment earlier this year.
Last Thursday, police pulled over a vehicle on Broad Street and arrested three people.
Following the stop, provincial officers carried out a raid at a residence on Main Street, where seized prohibited weapons, suspected fentanyl, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.
Police estimate the contraband was worth over $5,000.
A 15-year-old from Scarborough is facing two counts of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Also charged was a 17-year-old from Brantford who is facing an unauthorized weapons charge, two trafficking charges, a proceeds of crime charge, and two counts of breaking a previously issued court order.
The third person arrested and charged was 38-year-old Elizabeth Smith of Dunnville.
She is facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
All three will have their day in a Cayuga courthouse in the near future.
