Ontario reports 335 new COVID-19 cases, three new deaths

Ontario is reporting 335 new cases of COVID-19 and three new deaths.
More than two-thirds of the new cases are in people under the age of 40, according to Minister of Health Christine Elliott.
Ontario is reporting 335 cases of #COVID19 as more than 35,400 tests were completed. Locally, there are 102 new cases in Toronto with 79 in Peel and 65 in Ottawa. 69% of today’s cases are in people under the age of 40.

Wednesday’s new case numbers represent a nearly 30 per cent drop from the 478 new cases reported on Tuesday.
More than 35,000 tests were completed.
An additional 42 cases of the virus have been reported in schools.
The number of cases marked as resolved is up 238. More than 86 per cent of COVID-19 cases in the province are resolved.
Another three people have died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 2,835 people.
There are 3,652 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
According to provincial numbers, 88 people are hospitalized with the virus. Of those, 24 are in ICU and nine of those patients are on ventilators.

Brant: 5 new cases, 15 active cases
Niagara: 1 new case, 43 active cases
Halton: 9 new cases, 137 active cases
Hamilton: 5 new cases, 73 active cases
