Ontario reports 3,270 COVID-19 cases, 29 deaths

Ontario reported 3,270 cases of COVID-19 and 29 deaths on Monday.
The numbers come as the province completed 39,121 tests.
Ontario is reporting 3,270 cases of #COVID19 and over 39,100 tests completed. Locally, there are 917 new cases in Toronto, 581 in Peel, 389 in York Region, 246 in Windsor-Essex County and 131 in Ottawa.

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Cedarwood Village apartments in Simcoe after one resident and one staff member tested positive for the virus
A total of 4,679 people have died of the virus in the province. More than 60 per cent of those deaths were in residents of long-term care.
There are 1,190 COVID-19 patients in Ontario hospitals. There are 333 in intensive care and 194 of those are on ventilators.
Another 2,074 cases have been marked as resolved. Overall, 84.8 per cent of the province’s COVID-19 cases are resolved.
The province says 42,419 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered as of 8 p.m. Sunday night. Of those 4,806 were administered on Sunday.
