Ontario ministers to address leaders at municipalities conference

Three provincial ministers are set to address municipal leaders today as the Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference continues in Ottawa.

Deputy premier and Health Minister Sylvia Jones, Infrastructure Minister Kinga Surma and Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Paul Calandra will make their remarks this afternoon.

The AMO conference brings together some 25-hundred participants from municipalities across Ontario to discuss issues affecting their communities.

Key topics for this year’s event include housing and homelessness, infrastructure funding and the ongoing opioid crisis.
