One person killed, four injured in Caledonia two-vehicle collision

One person was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Caledonia on Saturday.

Haldimand OPP were called out to Argyle Street South just before 4 p.m after two vehicles collided and rolled into the ditch. According to a bystander three people were ejected from the cars.

Investigators say the driver of one of the vehicles attempted to flee the scene, but was located a short while later.

A 26-year-old man from Six Nations has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death, failing to stop at a collision and driving while prohibited.
