Oakville man charged with child luring and sexual assault, more victims possible

First Published:

Halton police have arrested and charged a twenty-one-year-old Oakville man with child luring and sexual assault and say that there may be more victims.

The Oct. 18 arrests stem to a child luring incident in September that the police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault units were called in to investigate.

Patrick McCash was arrested and charged with luring a child and two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators are concerned that there may be further victims.

Anyone who may have any additional information regarding the investigation is asked to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 Ext. 8970.
