No injuries after car crashes into Ancaster home

No one was injured after a car smashed through the front door of a house in Ancaster Wednesday evening, causing extensive damage to the entryway.
Hamilton police responded to 64 Chambers Dr. shortly before 5 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of a car hitting a house.

Witnesses report seeing the car turning onto Chambers Dr. before it suddenly increased its speed and crashed into the house.
There was a homeowner inside the address at the time of the crash but no one was injured and the driver stayed at the scene, cooperating with police.

Officers arrested the 44-year-old female driver and she faces multiple charges, including operation while impaired.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
