Niagara police seek man after a robbery in St. Catharines

Niagara police is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man in connection to a robbery at a gas station in St. Catharines.
Police say the robbery happened on Wednesday at around 6:45 a.m. on Welland Ave. near Neilson Ave. in the Canadian Tire gas station.
The man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. Officers say he threatened the clerk with a knife, but the knife was not seen.
According to police, he received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area.

Investigators describe the man as White, around 40 to 45-years-old, five-foot-three and scruffy/unshaven face.
He was last seen wearing a dark blue winter jacket, black toque, light coloured pants, and white shoes.
