Niagara police seek 15-year-old girl missing since Oct. 1

Niagara regional police are looking for a 15-year-old girl last seen leaving her home on foot Oct. 1, in St. Catharines.

Officers are looking for Emma Townsend from St. Catharines after they were made aware that she was missing after a Tuesday report.

She was last seen near Westchester Avenue and Princess Street in St. Catharines but has ties to Burlington, Cambridge and Parry Sound.

Police describe her as a five-foot-six tall white girl, weighing around 130 lbs, brown eyes and has very dark brownish-black hair.

She was last seen wearing a v-neck knitted long sleeve black sweater, with a charcoal grey wool dress pants with a maroon pattern and black low-top running shoes.

Both the police and Townsend’s family are worried for her welfare. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
