Niagara police arrest 2 people in relation to multiple break-ins

Two people have been arrested in relation to multiple break-ins at businesses in Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake and St. Catharines.

Officers say the suspects allegedly committed the break-ins on July 5, 14 and 15 by breaking the front windows of the stores.

They are accused of stealing cash, cash registers, video games, game consoles and cell phones.

Investigators have identified a London man and woman in relation to this case. They are mother and son.

Dominick Matthew Waindubence, 19, and Tonya Marie Waindubence, 43, are facing charges for breaking and entering, committing theft and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Dominick is also facing charges for mischief under $5,000 and theft from a vehicle under $5,000.

The mother and son were held in custody for a bail hearing on Sunday.

They were denied release and are scheduled to have their next court date on Tuesday.
