Police have arrested one boy and are looking for three males connected to a gang sexual assault that happened Sept. 15 in St. Catharines.

Detectives learned that four male suspects had allegedly committed a break and enter at a home in the area of Welland Avenue and Lake Street in the City of St. Catharines to assault a woman.

Investigators say the suspects stole multiple items from the woman’s home before leaving the woman with non-life-threatening physical injuries.

Officers executed search warrants at homes in the cities of Niagara Falls and St. Catharines on Friday and arrested a 17-year-old boy from Niagara Falls.

The boy was charged with multiple offences involved with breaking and entering and for sexual assault.
