Motorcycle driver, 32, dead after colliding with van in Flamborough

Hamilton police say a 32-year-old motorcycle driver has died following a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Flamborough.
Emergency crews responded shortly after 4:30 p.m. to Concession 5 Rd. East between Centre and Robson roads after an eastbound Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a westbound Dodge Caravan.
Officers say a Burlington man who was driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 37-year-old non-Canadian resident who was driving the van remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Concession 5 Rd. East between Centre and Robson roads was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is now investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det. Const. Wes Wilson at 905-546-4753.
