Yoga and back pain

New research shows people who suffer from chronic back pain may benefit from yoga.

The findings come from a British study on about 300 patients, all who suffered from lower back pain and were receiving standard care, like pain killers and basic stretches.

Half also went through a 3 month yoga program designed for lower back problems.

Those in the yoga group had far fewer problems walking and standing for long periods of time, even 9 months after the class had finished.
