Why we can’t stop eating food that isn’t food

Canadians are eating more and more ultra-processed food, and it could be affecting our health.
Ultra-processed food can be described as food that has been significantly changed from its original state, with salt, sugar, fat, additives, preservatives, and/or artificial colours.
Scientist and author, Dr. Chris Van Tulleken has done rigorous research on food and the ingredients that go into it and he wrote a book on it. He joined us this morning to discuss ‘Ultra Processed People: Why We Can’t Stop Eating Food That Isn’t Food’.
