HAPPENING NOW:

What’s hoppening at Bench Brewing?

Tim Bolen spent the morning in the Beamsville Bench at Bench Brewing to see what new things they have on tap.

Bench Brewing is built in the old Maple Grove School that was built in 1944 and designated a heritage building, so they tried to keep as much of it as they could, which is cool to see.

Everything Bench does it about community and the environment at the farmhouse brewery. They have their own hop field on the property and use it in their beer to help with sustainability, along with the water they use.  They purify the water they use to make the beer and repurpose it for the irrigation for their hops and apples.

If you beer isn’t your thing, Bench is now making SIP Seltzer, which is new this year. And everything is great paired with their food on the patio or restaurant.

And if there isn’t enough going on there with all their food and beer there is also a new event centre called Fieldstone on the property, which they hope to have fully open by Thanksgiving weekend. The church is the old St. Helen’s Church that they kept in tact and is just another piece of history that you can find there.
