Waterdown’s Dairy Queen is serving up cool treats for a good cause

Emily Vukovic was at Dairy Queen in Waterdown learning how owner Jayne Scala gives back to the community.

Throughout the morning Emily made, and ate, blizzards, which support McMaster Children’s Hospital on the second Thursday in August for Miracle Treat Day. All procceds from blizzards sold go to the hospital.

Along with helping out McMaster Children’s Hospital, Jayne also gives back to the community through donations and just allowing kids to have fun and eat ice cream!
